Installation Precautions

Simple installation doesn't mean it can be careless. Properly following these steps can prevent rework later:

1. Don't Neglect Drainage

Regardless of the location, the ground should have a 1-2% drainage slope. In a courtyard, the slope can be towards the drain; on a balcony, it should slope directly towards the drain outlet to prevent water accumulation during rain.

2. Cutting and Joining

When cutting, always cut along the direction of the grass fibers to prevent them from falling off. When joining two pieces of turf, ensure the grass fibers are aligned, overlap the seams by 1-2cm, and then cut. Before applying glue, align and press the seams firmly to ensure no gaps.

3. Fixing Method

For dirt surfaces, use artificial turf pegs, one every 30cm. For cement or tile surfaces, use a special artificial turf adhesive; avoid using ordinary glue as it's prone to peeling. For suspended balconies, add a non-slip mat before securing the turf.

4. Choose the right materials.

For home lawns, choose grass with a density of ≥8000 clumps/㎡, as this density is more durable. For children's areas, choose grass with a buffer layer. Choose environmentally friendly adhesives and granules to avoid odors. Ask the seller for advice when purchasing; you don't need to do the selection yourself.
